My Story
James grew up in Athens, Georgia to a single mother putting herself through Law School. He and his siblings worked on puzzles and watched countless hours of television and movies. After working as a projectionist at the local movie theatre, and switching majors, James made his way out to California. With a brief pitstop in New York. James worked his way into the union and at the age of 26 he got his first Editor credit. James has since edited a handful of features and over a hundred episodes of television. While working on the hit NBC show, Superstore, James earned the credit of Associate Producer and Directed two episodes. He has a short film, Beached, based on Stephen King’s short story, Beachworld, that found acclaim during it’s mid-pandemic festival run. James is currently looking for scripts while developing a few of his own.
